Nigerian influencer Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, has reportedly been arrested by immigration officials upon his return to Nigeria on April 1, 2025. In an Instagram post, Bobrisky revealed:
“Guys I have just been arrested by immigrant in Nigeria, I don’t know what I did o.”
This comes after Bobrisky left Nigeria in November 2024 to attend to his mental and physical health. While the reasons behind his arrest are still unclear, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) had previously detained him in October 2024 at the Seme border, calling him a “person of interest” in an ongoing investigation.
Bobrisky has also faced legal issues, including a conviction in April 2024 for naira abuse, leading to a six-month prison sentence.
Details about the arrest remain scarce, and both fans and critics are awaiting official statements from Nigerian authorities.
